I realized how less I know about literatur actually. I had to google him...*whistle*. But I've learned he studied in Liberec, Zürich, Prag and Berlin, writes in German too...and is one of the 30 most important personalities in the Czech Rep.
See! Google is the best! Yes, he has very close to Germany and he often use a German background in his books. He does every month with another Czech writer kind of the authors reading in a theatre. They read their own works and they invite another writers and poets and music bands. We go there with friends every month.
